Long an agricultural community focused on vegetable farming, Ruskin hosts its own farmers’ market and a Tomato and Heritage Festival.
The Ruskin Tomato and Heritage Festival is held every year to celebrate our agricultural roots and features a day of live music, food, arts and crafts, kid’s activities, a car show, a beauty pageant, and lots and lots of fun!! The date this year is June 18th, 2022, Downtown Ruskin 633 1St St N.W.
The Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre
The Ruskin Family Drive-In is a great community gathering place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday &Thursday (No movies showing on Monday & Tuesday) Prices are adults (age 9 and up) $6.00; children ages 5 to 8 $1.00 and children 4 and under are free. A few things to know about. The Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre, with over 50 years of continuous service to the Ruskin. They call it the “Last family drive-in” in the U.S.A. because families, dating couples, single parents with children, and everyone else young and old can come and visit. We had family values when family values were the rule. We still have family values although by some we’re not considered cool. You may bring your dog with you as long as they are friendly, and you clean up after them. No alcohol.
