This weekend is full of events celebrating 4th of July Weekend throughout Tampa Bay. The Boom by the Bay, Saturday Morning Market, and July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show & Blessing of the Fleet are a few featured events. Let me know what events you have attended. Boom by the Bay is BACK and bigger than ever!
Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay Powered by TECO will return on Monday, July 4, 2022, featuring 3 fireworks displays along Tampa’s waterfront–including the largest one yet from Bayshore Boulevard.
Several parks and local hotspots around Tampa’s Downtown will be activated throughout the day offering family-friendly activities, music, and more.
FIREWORKS
– Boom on Bayshore (south of Davis Islands Bridge) – largest fireworks display!
– Star Spangled Sparkman at Sparkman Wharf
– The Heights District 4th of July Celebration at Armature Works
ACTIVITIES
In addition to fireworks, residents will be able to enjoy food trucks, live music, a water ski show, family-friendly activities and more along Tampa’s downtown waterfront.
Please note: there will be no fireworks at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, or the Tampa Convention Center this year.
Bratty Paws 4th of July Dock Diving QUALIFIER Event – Tribute to Military Vets Bratt6 Paws Dog Plex July 1st – 4th 8 am – 6 PM We are happy to be offering our first Dock Diving Qualifier Event. Come join 4th of July weekend. We will be offering open splashes, first come first serve. This Qualifier event is running in conjunction with the Doberman Pinscher Club of Florida and the Heartland Dog Club of Florida Agility Cluster.
*****Come out and help support our Military Veterans. Bratty Paws will donate $1.00 per splash to K9 Partners for Patriots. K9 Partners is a fantastic non-profit organization located in Brooksville, Florida. Devoted to Ending Veteran Suicide with the Help of Rescue Dogs. We will also be happy to accept any other donations for them.

The day commemorates the anniversary of the Constitution Act, which consolidated three territories into the single nation of Canada, way back in 1867. That’s right — Canada celebrated its 150th birthday in 2017!
3 Daughters Brewing Presents: DUELING PIANOS! 8 PM – 11 PM
New York, NY Dueling Pianos show is a high-octane fiesta that’s a part rock show, part comedy show, and all sorts of craziness rolled into one big outrageous party.
The audience becomes part of the show in a sing-along, dance-along, party-along extravaganza!
We will also have Wings & Things food truck on site for delicious bites from 6-11 PM.

*National Independent Beer Run Day is celebrated on July 3 and is when beer lovers across the country call for Americans to buy craft-made beer ahead of Independence Day. Many independent beer lovers will be raising a glass for their annual celebration this year. The event is intended to promote independence from imported beers and from significant beer business practices that threaten autonomous craft brewers. The American craft beer industry has seen unprecedented support this year as the total number of breweries in the U.S. has reached a high.
Fresh Market 10 AM – 2 PM Hyde Park Village Join us for Fresh Market at Hyde Park Village every first Sunday of the month. Fresh Market is a monthly farmer’s market featuring over 80 local vendors including produce, handcrafted goods, plants, and more. MONDAY, July 4th - Independence Day*
*Americans come together on July 4 to celebrate the nation’s birthday and Independence Day. On this day, most Americans enjoy grills in their backyards, at beaches, or in parks. Some partake in parades or marches and enjoy the fireworks that are often launched at dusk. We kick off the festivities with details, trivia, and anything else you need to know about Independence Day. Happy Fourth!
July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show & Blessing of the Fleet 4 PM – 10 PM
Celebrate July 4th with Friends of the Riverwalk as we host our July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show (NEW this year), & Blessing of the Fleet as part of the Boom by the Bay festivities. The parade route will be similar to our holiday light boat parade but will include a Water Ski Show to kick off the celebration, a poker run and a blessing station.
