Now that it’s a little cooler outside the Manatees and other sea creaters enjoy goingto the Teco Energuy Plant. he Manatee Viewing Center’s mission is to educate the public about the Florida manatee and its habitat. The center is a state and federally designated manatee sanctuary.

2022 Gasparilla Pirate Fest [Official Event Page] January 29th, 2022 from 11 am – 8 pm Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Gasparilla Parade of Pirates is a uniquely Tampa event created by city leaders more than 100 years ago to lure people to visit Tampa. Last year’s parade was canceled because of coronavirus concerns, but organizers say this year, all systems go. There are no limits on crowds or mask mandates. However, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor urged attendees to practice “personal responsibility” when wearing masks in tight groups and staying home if immunocompromised.

Location: The Jose Gasparilla sets sail at the south end of Hillsborough Bay at 11:30 am., sails north to Seddon Channel & docks at the Tampa Convention Center at 1:00 pm.
2:00 p.m. – approx. 5:30 p.m.
