This weekend is full of various events throughout Tampa Bay, starting to celebrate Black History Month. A few featured events are the Keel Farms Strawberry Bash, Pinellas African American Heritage Celebration, and the 75th Annual Pasco County Fair. Let me know what events you have attended. Family-Friendly Events
Keel Farms Strawberry Bash FEB 26 AT 11 AM – FEB 27 AT 5 PM Keel & Curley Winery at Keel Farms This family-friendly event will feature Keel Farms strawberries, wine release, eating competition, strawberry fun, craft and food vendors, live entertainment, a kids’ fun zone, and more! Admission and parking are free for everyone. This event is also pet-friendly. Fresh Plant City strawberries will be available for purchase, along with a variety of strawberry treats the whole family can enjoy.
2022 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg FEB 25 AT 7:30 AM – FEB 27 AT 2:30 PM 100 Laps | 180 Miles The 1.8-mile, 14-turn (5 lefts, nine rights) circuit incorporates streets of downtown St. Petersburg and a section of the runway of Albert Whitted Airport. After the long front stretch, there’s a tight right-hander into Turn 1 and then a quick left-hand turn. Plenty of drivers has gotten into trouble in these two turns over the years. There are two other long straights with heavy braking zones that can overtake.
2022 SunWest Crab & Shrimp Festival FEB 25 AT 5 PM – FEB 27 AT 4 PM New in 2022 – Kids Area, Shows, More Bands, More Seafood, and Family-Friendly Fun and No Parking Fees. Admission Tickets include bouncers, obstacle courses, rock wall & velcro wall, entertainment, shows, live bands, and access to even more seafood options than ever before. (Food not included in ticket price) Also, I had this year, see the Wolves of the World Show, walked through the Bird Encounter, and participated in our Hermit Crab Races. As well as a full line-up of live bands.
75th Annual Pasco County Fair thru FEB 27 at 8 PM Annual County Fair with Midway Rides, Fair Food, Free Entertainment Daily, Livestock Shows. -Bluegrass Music on Wednesday, Gospel Music on Thursday, Demo Derby on Saturday. FREE parking Hours Vary located at 36722 S.R. 52, Dade City, FL

Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 2022 6 AM – 11 AM Bayshore Boulevard is a waterfront road on Hillsborough Bay in South Tampa, Florida. Located south of downtown Tampa, its sidewalk, claimed to be the longest continuous sidewalk globally at 4.5mi long, is 10ft wide, and is widely used for recreation and exercise.
Gasparilla Outbound Voyage At Sparkman Wharf The last Gasparilla event of the year. Don Jose’s crew is heading out to sea, and who better to wait for them in the water than mermaids? This is more of a pirate-themed afterparty. But any excuse to dress up is a good one, isn’t it?
Pinellas African American Heritage Celebration 10 AM – 4 PM 12211 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL 33778-2008 Returning to the community after over ten years, the PAAHC is a one-day festival in Florida Botanical Gardens.
