Fall Pumpkin Festival & Haunted Barn in Odessa at the Raprager Family Farms – Grand opening is Saturday, Sept 25th and runs thru October 30th. It’s Raprager Family Farms 2nd annual Fall Pumpkin Festival! There are more activities than ever and many improvements. In addition to our standard attractions (hayrides, hay chute slide, 80′ bounce pillow, petting zoo, kids fort, corn pit, gem mining ($), face painting ($), pony rides ($)) we have numerous holiday attractions, including a huge variety of pumpkins and gourds, haunted barn and cemetery, a mini crop maze, a children’s haunted house (inflatable), tons of vendors, holiday country décor, live entertainment and so much more.
Open from 9am to 9pm Friday and Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sunday. Bring your friends, family, and phones for pictures. This will be an amazing event!
Fall mazes and pumpkin patches: It may not be sweater weather around here yet, but you can head to the countryside for a taste of fall. In Masaryktown, south of Brooksville, the HarvestMoon Fun Farm and nearby Sweetfields Farm both have fall setups on select days Saturday-Nov. 7. At HarvestMoon, you’ll find a 5-acre corn maze with a cow train, pedal cars, barnyard games, a petting farm, pumpkin patch and tree house. $13.95, 2 and younger free at harvestmoonfl.com. 15990 Stur St., Masaryktown. 727-326-3256. Light Show: Starting Friday, a South Tampa home turns itself into a computerized, drive-through neighborhood Halloween light show with more than 200,000 strings of lights. Shows last about 20 minutes and feature popular songs like The Devil Went Down to Georgia . Donations for charity are accepted. Tampa Pro: The Skatepark of Tampa, or SPoT as it’s known to fans, is hosting the 27th edition of Tampa Pro on Oct. 15-17. Over the years it has become one of the most important tournaments on the skateboarding calendar, drawing top names in the sport and famous fans like Lil Wayne. $15, or $60 for a weekend pass, at skateparkoftampa.com/tickets.
Pops in the Park: Pack a blanket and picnic for free music under the stars, a Florida Orchestra tradition for nearly 30 years. The show features film scores, Broadway hits and symphonic favorites as Daniel Black conducts. Free. The show starts at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg and Oct. 17 at River Tower Park in Tampa.

Clearwater Jazz Holiday This weekend we were excited to sponsor both a jazz duo and quartet performance as part of the Glazer Children’s Museum Celebration in Tampa and giving opportunities for young and local musicians.
